Re: Georgia Strait Crossing Project<br><br>

	I am writing to you as president of the Saturna Community Club and at the direction of the club's executive. Saturna Island enjoys a small population and the community club is the forum where issues of general concern are expressed.<br><br>

	We believe that the Georgia Strait Crossing Project raises a number of serious issues which need to be fully considered in a public manner. The proponents of the project apparently anticipate that a Comprehensive Study Report will be sufficient and acceptable. We do not agree.<br><br>

	We ask that the NEB refer this project to the Minister of Environment and request that he order a full Independent Panel Review. We endorse the comments expressed to you by others including Senator Pat Carney and Murray Coell, MLA.<br><br>
