Last night, Premier Ujjal Dosanjh said, with regard to the Campbell River cogen plant, that "we should review this", because of the excessive pollution it's going to put out.

It turns out that he was apparently speaking off the cuff, but this was the premier's cuff, so it is encouraging.

Call his office or fax him, to say what a good idea it would be to review the Campbell River plant, - and while he's at it, why not review the whole plan to move Vancouver Island's power future to natural gas?

It is a smart political move for Premier Dosanjh to be disassociating himself from this Glen Clark energy mega-project - that's about to go very wrong, like the Fast Cat Ferries, and cause the government another shovelful of embarrassment at the worst possible moment.
