Gas prices too low for project, says analyst
Bleak price outlooks for natural gas in North America have wiped the proposed Mackenzie pipeline off the map, according to a recent report by U.S. energy regulators.

I like statistics. I liked them on the back of baseball cards when I was a kid. I like them as produced by organizations such as the US Energy Information Administration and Canada's Energy Resource Conservation Board (ERCB) today.
EIA 2010 Annual Energy Outlook
The US Energy Information Agency has released its "early outlook", with production and consumption forecasts out to 2035. It shows an increase in energy consumption for energy from all sources, including oil, gas, coal, nuclear and renewables. It also indicates an increase in CO2 of 8% over the period.
